Beaten Rice
In olden days beaten rice was being manufactured in traditional method using wooden pounding unit. Paddy should be half boiled on the previous day and kept in vessel. Very next day the water should be removed and half boiled paddy is to be roasted in the clay vessel. The roasted paddy is to be placed in the pounding morter and pounded until beaten rice and bran are separated.
